     Studiile de muzică le-a început la Lic. Artă GEORGE ENESCU din Bucureşti (1968 – 1980), cu Octavian Nemescu (contrapunct, forme muzicale), Dumitru Avakian (istoria muzicii), continuându-le la Cons. din Bucureşti (1981 – 1985), cu Dan Constantinescu (compoziţie), Victor Giuleanu (teoriesolfegiu), Alexandru Paşcanu (armonie), Ştefan Niculescu (forme muzicale), Dinu Ciocan (contrapunct), Nicolae Beloiu (orchestraţie), Liviu Brumariu, Vasile Iliuţ şi Petre Brâncuşi (istoria muzicii), Gheorghe Oprea (folclor), Gabriel Amiraş şi Ioana Minei (pian), Silvia Secrieriu (cor şi dirijat coral). Doctor în estetică muzicală (Paris, 1992). 􀂊 Profesoară de muzică la Şc. nr. 251 din Com. Periş – Ilfov. Pianistă-concertistă, membră a Ansamblului cameral HYPERION din Bucureşti (din 1988). A întreprins turnee artistice în Franţa, Belgia, Olanda, Spania, SUA, Anglia, etc. A susţinut conferinţe şi emisiuni radiofonice.
     A fost distinsă cu premiul III la Concursul Internaţional de compoziţie corală din Tours (Franţa – 1985), premiul Acad. Române (1994).

     Viorel COSMA, Encilopedia muzicii româneşti, vol.1, A-B, 2005

     Compositeur, pianiste, musicologue, chef d'orchestre. Née en 1961 à Bucarest. Études de composition au CNSM de Bucarest de 1980 à 1985, achevées avec le Premier Prix d'écriture, analyse, contrepoint, harmonie, orchestration et esthétique musicale. Elle suit parallèlement des études de piano et de musique de chambre et obtient en 1992 le DEA d'esthétique musicale à la Sorbonne.
     
     Entre 1984 et 1988 elle remporte de nombreux prix nationaux et internationaux de composition et de musique de chambre. Grand Prix pour la Composition de l'Académie Roumaine (1994). Membre de l'Ensemble Hyperion de Bucarest qu'elle conduit et dirige avec Iancu Dumitrescu depuis 1988.
     
     Sa musique a été jouée à New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Standford, Vienne (Festival Wien Modern-1992,1994, 2002,), à Paris (Radio-France, Théâtre de la Ville), Londres (Royal Festial Hall), Allicante, Lisbonne, Baden-Baden, Darmstadt, Moscou, Istanbul, Nancy etc...
     Ses oeuvres ont été jouées par de nombreux ensembles et solistes : Kronos Quertet, 20 Jahrhunderdt de Vienne, Claude Delangle,Orchestre Philharmonique G. Enesco de Bucarest, Orchestre de la Radio Roumaine, Orchestre National de Chambre de Roumanie... Sa musique a été commandée par des institutions et ensembles parmi lesquels figurent Radio-France, Kronos Quartet, CCMIX, différents orchestres roumains, Ensemble Ars Nova... Elle a fondé et elle conduit avec Iancu Dumitrescu, le Festival International de Musique Electroacoustique et Assistée par Ordinateur "Acousmania" Bucarest, - en partenariat avec la Société Roumaine de Radiodiffusion, le Festival International "Musica Nova" en paretenariat avec la Philharmonique de Ploiesti. Fondateur du CREMAC - Comunauté Roumaine Electroacoustique et de Musique Assistée par Ordinateur.
     Sa musique est éditée par "Edition Modern" (Londres-Bucarest), "Electrecord" (Bucarest),"Artgallery" (Paris), "ReR Megacorp" (Londres), "Bananafish" (Los Angeles), "Musicworks" (Toronto).
